Canada’s Top 25 Political Blogs – February 2009
Here is the 17th monthly ranking of Canada’s Top 25 Political Blogs. Check this page for info on methodology.
There are a couple new additions to the list. One of them, I don’t know – it’s iffy for me. The DeSomgBlog was dropped this month. If there isn’t a single post on Canadian politics on the start page, I skip it and move on. Garth Turner retired from blogging this month, so he was also dropped from the list.
Besides that, mostly the same big names.
One bit of news: I’ll be adding a Top 25 Canadian Business Blogs ranking to my site. It will launch next Monday. I find I’m reading the business sites as much as the political sites. From time to time I’ve found some really good business advice on those sites and I’d like to draw more attention to them. If you know of any good business blogs, please let me know in the comments.

I don’t know if this would count as a “business” blog per se, but I always enjoy the New York Times’ Freakonomics blog.
Hey, WE’RE not on the list this month?
Hey, man, your methodology is obviously totally messed up. Plus I think you’re, like, totally biased against leftist sites, and I’ll bet you’re cooking the statistics anyway, and anyway, who cares?
http://canadiansilverbug.blogspot.com/ for your other list.
Thanks again for making the list.

I see the Lying Jackal is whining that right wing blogs dominate as usual. He does out himself as a communist however so his post ain’t all bad.

It’s a better blog Red.
Umm…no.

All good sites… but nothing really compares to http://canadianpolitical.blogspot.com. That site isn’t all news about politics, it also has humour.
