It’s like pulling teeth to get this list out this month. I’m saddled with post-election ennui or something. It seems a lot of blog readers are as well.
I checked 350 blogs for this thing. According to the CBC that’s half of what’s out there. It’s always possible I missed your site. It’s not a conspiracy – just send me your URL and I’ll include you next time.
Alexa numbers are weeklies not quarterlies, so they are different from what you see in your Alexa toolbar. This is done to reduce the impact of Digg and Reddit swarms. PR’s now cut off at 5 – if you’re below that, you don’t make the list. Other details are in the Top 25 link at the top of the page.

Thanks for your work on this! Happy at #10.
Hey there, Robert. Good work as always. I wonder if I’m close to the cusp now. I have a PR of 5 and Alexa of 971,129.
Maybe next month.
Great to meet you recently. Good to put a face to the name. Heh. >:-)>
Oh no my cheque bounced!
I accidentally just deleted a heap of comments and can’t ‘undelete’ them. Sorry, I was trying to clear up another blog and didn’t realize I was logged into this one. My bad. Sorry.
Funny …. No DustMyBroom………
Oh yeah …. and since when is Michael Geist a political blog?
Dust my Broom had a Google PR of 3 so it didn’t make it. To see if a blog is political, I read the first page of the site. In October, Geist didn’t really seem political, but for the November list, there were plenty of stories in their that qualify.

I got the mail below from a friend of mine and following the unwritten code of

YOU……
Google launched GMail in April’2004 on a strictly invitation basis but with
1. FREE pop mail
2. 2GB of storage
3. FREE smtp sending
4. FREE Auto-forwarding
almost 90% of Indian email accounts from yahoo/hotmail/rediffmail etc.
migrated to gmail. (Most credit card companies/insurance companies) are purchasing outdated email lists from unscrupulous list vendors and your communication is lying unopened in millions of defunct indiatimes accounts. Donot beleive login to and check it out for yourself) as they are Gmail users since 2004. In one stroke Gmail has changed the rules of direct email marketing just as it shook up microsoft with Google desktop search and now with Google Base, newspaper and television advertisers are running scared. No wonder Google’s market capitalisation on 1st Jan’2006 is a 100 billion dollars and it will hit $1000 billion by 2020.
Infact you can now reach the Outlook Inbox of 1 million high income group Indians via gmail, as pop-mail is freely enabled in Gmail. With the BPO boom, most BPO call center executives opted for Gmail as their first email account. So a database of Gmail addresses with Name can be used to effectively target 1 million high income Indians for marketing your products.
Here is where we come into play!
We have developed, tested and are launching GBase which is a database of 2,00,000 ( Two lakh ) Gmail addresses with Name (Anil/Raj Khanna etc.) and email address (raj.khanna@gmail.com) in Microsoft Excel format.
The highlights of GBase are
1. Can be imported into all bulk email software
2. Personalised Subject lines to improve response rate
3. To be sold on a first come basis to the fastest buyer
4. Value for money pricing
To receive a no obligatory free sample of 1000 prospective Gmail buyers from our master Gbase blank email database4ceos@gmail.com with SENDGBASE100_2008* in the subject.

Sorry, but your numbers are off. My Alexa number is 783,814 not 969,035 as shown.
I realize it’s only a few hundred thousand sites difference, but still… ;)
BTW, awesome that the widget updated automatically in WordPress. Very impressive!
And don’t mind my kvetching. I’m just a little fussy and particular sometimes.
RT – those are last month’s numbers. I haven’t done the December list yet. I’m going to do it in a couple hours. Right, now I’m writing reply to forms – way more interesting.
LOL. Well, that says a lot right there. I can relate.
But hey… It seems that I’m rocketing up if that’s the case. Why, eventually, I might get up to the lofty peaks of “Marginalized Action Dinosaur” who yesterday had a post titled “Time for Western Canadians to say bye-bye to this dysfunctional wannabe country” and got all of THREE comments. (Something seriously wrong there methinks.)
