The Georgia Straight: Vote anyone but Harper, also check out our totally convincing Persian shemales!
So what if the Tories have the Economist coming out for them – the Liberals and Dippers have locked up the shemale aficionado / chronic / mumbly weirdo at the back of the bus demographic – with warnings of American takeover. I don’t know how to write the onomatopoeia for taking a toke or a bong hit but imagine that I wrote it right here:
Harper’s Security and Prosperity Partnership with the United States and Mexico is another step along the road to continental integration. Some of Harper’s ideological friends at right-wing think tanks like the Fraser Institute have also promoted a common North American currency. Don’t be surprised if Harper moves in this direction if he wins a majority government.
Excellent link. It’s good of you to remind us once again of Harper’s quiet deal to admit US troops to Canada, the fact that Harper ignored Environment Environment Canada’s own scientist in developing his energy “plan”, his censorship of critics, his Security and Prosperity Partnership with the United States and Mexico, the lack of support in Canada for Harper’s policies on the war, the lie that he wouldn’t tax income trusts, the elimination of the Court Challenges Program and the killing of the Kelowna Accord, his $45-million cuts to the arts, and the other indisputable facts conveniently summarized in the article. Good reference, thanks.

In my youth sooo long ago, the Georgia Straight used to be a really radical far left anti-establishment oh so excruciatingly 60s counter culture paper that was the subject of a lot of scrutiny and raised eyebrows from the straight laced segment of society. It now seems to be not much more than a rag for the barely functioning to exercise their freedom of expression otherwise known as howling at the moon. I often find myself wondering – was it really like that all those years ago or has it morphed further down the sewer pipe since then? I know I’ve changed. Wised up, as they say. But has the Georgia Straight gone moonbattish or is it just that in my youth my moonbattish detectors hadn’t sprouted yet.
