Canada’s Top 25 Political Blogs – September

Earlier this month I set up a site called www.politicscanada.info.  This features the RSS for the Top 25 Blogs.  It gives you an interesting look at what people are talking about – and how they are talking about it.

That site will be updated in a few hours to show the new sites.

Click here to see how the criteria used to compile this list.

..I guess one could argue the focus was on political, because SDA is #1 as far as I’m concerned, and not #2 as stated.

More change has come from that site and Angry in the Great White North, which doesn’t even show.

    Statistics, bloody statistics.

  2. Did my cheque bounce?

  3. James Bow says:

Thank you for your hard work on this. It’s always interesting to see the results.

  4. Saskboy says:

*Shakes joking fist at administrator for usurping my position ;-)*

  5. Saskboy says:

Wow TGBeaver is an impressive PR6 like SDA, but less traffic.

  6. Jay Currie says:

    I’m back…

But I figure the path to glory is to have a subdomain which is a beer blog as my pal Alan over at Gen-X does.

Or pay attention to Alexa which really only counts Americans…

But interesting none the less so thank you.

(By the way, it appears the Lying Jackal has become a vlog…just saying.)

  7. Kazemi says:

Only 1 lefty blog in top 10. heheh — moral relativism and left-fascism is costing them a bundle.

Maybe the lefties can Islamify and find new fans in the mosques? I am sure the misogynist (”kill, kill, kill them apostates and gays”) types will love to ally with these post-lefties.

  8. James Bow says:

Are you sure only one? I would have thought that, under your criteria, Matthew Good, Michael Geist and myself would have made the lefty list, even if I do consider myself to be a centrist.

  9. Kazemi says:

James, Geist is a single-issue blog – so its not included. Its unclear why it gets #1 ranking.

There is a huge difference between a post-left postcolonial pro-Islamic fascism and anti-enlightenment blog like Good and a centrist one like yours.

Orwell: “A leftist is a power worshipper out of power.”

Their whole understanding of society is reduced to power relationship. Very simplistic minds.

  10. Robert says:

Ha! There’s two people who think Geist is a single issue blog. Anyone else?

  11. saskboy says:

    “Concordia Blocking Access to Facebook”
“61 Reforms to C-61, Day 59: Statutory Damages Reform – Removes Court Discretion For Reduced Damages”
“Australian Senator Speaks Out On Open Access”

Robert, your bias is showing ;-)
