Just got back from the rally. Steyn hadn’t arrived by the time I left. We had about 20 people demonstrating with us, lots of good feedback from passersby. Only one really snarky person – who turned out to be an HRT staff member.
Some media were inside, but otherwise a light crowd. A couple pictures of the event, and video of one of the organizers – Truepeers from Covenant Zone:
Here’s the HRT – the leafy corner at the back to the side a bit. It’s hard to find. The court complex at Robson square is huge:

Here’s part of the crowd outside:

Truepeers of Covenant Zone discussing the demo:

I’m off to the rally in 10 minutes. I’m bringing my camera, so I’ll post video and pictures of the event as soon as I get to my office – around 9.30am.
It looks like rain – so quick prediction: 20 – 30 supporters, 3 random far left locals screaming at us, maybe 1 print outlet, and a lot of confused looking construction workers.
More later …

Bravo job well done, thankyou for your effort.
From the East Coast, where it never rains and the days are always balmy. Rose.
Thanks to rjjago for posting this link and thanks to you good people for standing up for the Rights of Free People and Free Speech. Fascism is but one damn commission, one government official away. Has the HRC done anything about the muslim honor killings? No, we would not want to be islamophobic. But I did send the HRC a copy of Mr. Steyn’s book America Alone. Bums sent it back.
Best to all.

The blank signs are a great idea.
Yes, the blank signs are great!
Well done men!
Robert,
I saw you guys this morning. I’m not much of one for formal protests but that’s just a personal preference. Rest assured that I much admire you all taking the very public stance you did.
I trust you’ve read this? I can’t even begin to imagine what this pair of CBC braniacs would have made of your blank signs!
Once again, good on you all to do what you’ve done!
Robert W.

A reminder, if I may, that we at Covenant Zone meet every Thursday evening at the public library here in Vancouver, 7-9:00 p.m. for coffee and informal discussion on events regarding jihad and Left dhimmi fascism. Hope you’ll join us for a few hours. Find us in the atrium outside Blenz coffee bar. Truepeers is famous by now, but if by chance you don’t recognize his smiling face, look for the blue scarves or Israeli flags on our caps. (Really pisses off the jihadis.)
