It’s scary because it won’t stop with dogs or cats or your favorite horse. Next we’ll be recapturing the “good old days” with Grandpa aka as Duncan Idaho.
They make it seems so innocent. Pets are just practice for bigger and more lucrative endeavors.

I don’t see why it is “so wrong”. If anything, it is far less wrong than parents replacing a pet with a similar dog without telling their kids.
