Who are Canada’s most important progressive Muslims?
I’m planning to write a series of posts as well as an article on Canada’s most important progressive Muslims. I’ve got the obvious: Tarek Fatah, Irshad Manji, and Rahim Jaffer – but who else is there?
I’m especially interested in Conservative Muslim figures. Conservative in the partisan sense.
Any suggestions are greatly welcome in the comments (please include a link if possible). I want to post something on them in time for my monthly blog rankings. Those blog rankings bring in 10,000 hits over the course of a few days, and usually lead to 3 or 4 posts being picked up by big international bloggers like Michelle Malkin, Tim Blair, and the Corner at National Review.com – so it’s a good opportunity to gain exposure for progressive moderate Muslims.
I’m also interested in finding out about progressive Muslims in other parts of the Anglosphere – if you have suggestions on who would be good there, please, again, do let me know in the comments.

Difference between conservative and progressive :
Muslim woman was tortured and forced by Brampton police in Ontario in jail to take her scarf off by force to video tape her for purpose of court hearing and judge did nothing to that police who did illegal against constitution right in Canada and police in Brampton police station ask Muslim women to take off shoes and walk in jail with bare shoes in Canada, without any evidence proof against her. Pc Helimo and illegal lawyer conspiracy in Toronto sent Muslim women to stay among prositute to tortured them emotionally. Video tape proof that.
ALL by law acceptable in Canada and Muslim women has no right in Canada

This is not jewish’s fault this is government law and regulation fault allow anybody do illegally acused person in fault to steal thier business for gain of profit using any shape of discrimination.
After a week on the hot seat over Canada’s role in the possible torture of Afghan prisoners, the Harper government came under fire again this weekend at a conference on torture.

The Supreme Court of Canada said Thursday it will not hear arguments that captives handed over to Afghan authorities by Canadian troops should be protected by the Charter of Rights.
As is its custom, the court did not give reasons for its decision.

Public companies such as Loblaw who used people money
can not have lawyer to do what the owner of companies look for profit solely
or such person like Michael kimber and Wendy Earel mess with public interest for benefit of their own illegal conduct of thier legal department of 22 st.
