These are for a Firefox plugin called ‘PicLens’. This gives you a powerfully cool search interface for pictures and videos. It access’ Flickr, Youtube, Google, and a few other sharing sites. Install it and you get a little button on your firefox toolbar. Click that and you get this absolutely amazing visual search feature.
If you’re looking for photos you can zoom into hi-res images and click a button to download them. You can pass through these files like you would on an iPhone or an iTouch – though using a handy toolbar at the bottom or your mouse’s scroll wheel. If you’re searching youtube, you get a large screen, sans ‘youtube’ logo in the lower right corner. The second screenshot shows that – it’s a video of a Stephen Harper speech with the ‘play’ ‘pause’ etc… buttons at the bottom of the screen. It’s about twice the size of your standard youtube screen.
