Best Firefox Plug-In Ever

It just looks so damned good. Here are a couple screenshots (Click to enlarge):

These are for a Firefox plugin called ‘PicLens’. This gives you a powerfully cool search interface for pictures and videos. It access’ Flickr, Youtube, Google, and a few other sharing sites. Install it and you get a little button on your firefox toolbar. Click that and you get this absolutely amazing visual search feature.

If you’re looking for photos you can zoom into hi-res images and click a button to download them. You can pass through these files like you would on an iPhone or an iTouch – though using a handy toolbar at the bottom or your mouse’s scroll wheel. If you’re searching youtube, you get a large screen, sans ‘youtube’ logo in the lower right corner. The second screenshot shows that – it’s a video of a Stephen Harper speech with the ‘play’ ‘pause’ etc… buttons at the bottom of the screen. It’s about twice the size of your standard youtube screen.

You can install it from here.
