And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
Obama’s starting to remind me of Fred Thompson. Back when Thompson was running, no one knew why he wanted to be President. Looking at Obama’s latest, his pastor, and his wife’s statements and you have to wonder why he wants to be President of the United States.
