This is the street where I work - almost. The actual street where I work has been excavated for a new Skytrain line and so you can’t stand on it.

A lot of people think of Vancouver as all mountains and ocean and green. That’s true for about 25% of the city. The rest is as pictured, st0ne and brick, and alleys and heroin addicts [standing behind me while I took the picture]
Another thing I saw - a Post Office tradition. As we get closer to Canada day, they put up their giant flag:
